Different Since 1933
Not all financial institutions are the same. We believe a genuinely unique quality sets ProFed apart from other institutions.
We call it the ProFed Difference.
Since 1933, when a small group of friends and colleagues formed Fort Wayne Teachers Credit Union, our staff has been committed to providing members with low-cost financial products and services.
We have nearly 85 years of trusted financial stewardship, but that doesn't mean we're old-fashioned. We balance our tradition with cutting-edge technology and services to give you the most value for your dollar.
Today, ProFed has grown to serve more than 48,000 members with 11 branches in northeast Indiana's nine counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells and Whitley.
So what is the ProFed Difference?
Our goal is to meet your financial needs while saving you money and making your life simpler. We offer a full line of free and low-cost products and services for your benefit.
Best of all, at ProFed, you're not our customer, you're a member. This means you own a share of the credit union, and you get to vote for our Board of Directors.
Our experienced staff is friendly and responsible. We're not just employees, we're members, too; so we care for you like friends and family. That's why we go above and beyond to see that you are satisfied.
How can you join? Membership is open to persons who live, worship, work (or regularly conduct business in) or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located in the counties listed above, and their immediate family members.
We invite you to become a member if you aren't one already. Apply for membership online, or visit any ProFed branch.
