You Can Join!

Because Pro Fed is a credit union, you must qualify for membership to take advantage of our many low-cost products and services. You may qualify in a number of ways.

• Be an employee of any Pro Fed sponsor group
• Be immediate family members of any existing or eligible members
• Live, work, attend school, worship, or volunteer in certain areas of Allen County
• Be 50 years of age or older and be eligible to join the Pro Fed Eagles

Benefits of Pro Fed Membership

At Pro Fed you are a member, not just a customer. Membership works like this: each member is required to purchase and hold one share in the credit union. (At Pro Fed, the par value of a share is $5.00.) Owning this share actually makes you an owner of the credit union and gives you an equal vote in electing the credit union's Board of Directors from your peers. Earnings at Pro Fed are then returned to you in the form of dividends on share accounts, improved services, and new products. So why take your business where you are "just a customer" when you can be an owner at Pro Fed!

How to apply for membership:

• Stop by any branch and we can open your account on the spot.

Or

• Complete an application now. We'll transfer the information to a membership card and mail it back to you for your signature. Sign the card and return it to the credit union along with the following:
  • A check for at least $5.00 to open your savings account. If you want to open a checking account you'll need to deposit at least $25.00 for your first order of checks.
  • A copy of your driver's license or other government-issued photo ID.
