Professional Federal Credit Union
About ProFed

History

Since 1933, when a small group of friends and colleagues formed Fort Wayne Teachers Credit Union, our staff has been committed to providing members with low-cost financial products and services.

Our name has gone through many changes over the years, but this commitment lives on today.

ProFed has grown to more than $360 million in assets and more than 46,000 members. ProFed's 11 branches serve members and businesses in all of northeast Indiana's nine counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells and Whitley.

You're invited to become a member. We want you to take full advantage of ProFed's low-cost financial products and services.

Membership is open to the employees of several hundred sponsor companies, and their immediate family members. Members can also join through the ProFed Eagles Association, for members ages 50 and older. You may also join if you live in certain areas of Fort Wayne and Allen County.
